During July and August, Sarsina pays homage to its most illustrious citizen with an internationally renowned theatre festival: the Plautus Festival. The best theatre companies, on classical and modern repertoires, perform in the Arena Plautina located in a picturesque valley at the foot of the medieval village of Calbano.
