An ancient defensive fortress, first Umbrian and then Roman, Castrum Calbane, due to its dominant position over the city of Sarsina, was closed as a fortress in the Middle Ages. Despite over two thousand years of history, Calbano still offers visitors images and sensations of times gone by.
